## Trial and setup

### 14-day free trial

Every team can start with a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. The trial lets you connect data, generate dashboards, and validate the core AI-native analytics workflow before choosing a plan.

### Setup options

You can set up Basedash self-serve, or work with us on onboarding for larger rollouts.

## Billing and payments

### AI usage

Every plan includes monthly AI usage credits. Most AI actions count toward usage, including asking questions in chat, generating charts, building dashboards, running automations, and generating insights. If usage exceeds the included credits, overage is charged on the next bill. Admins can track usage and set spend limits in [Billing and AI usage](/docs/administration/billing-and-ai-usage).

## Self-hosting

Self-hosting is available on the Enterprise plan for teams that need tighter network control, internal infrastructure alignment, or stricter compliance requirements.
