Share charts to Slack with rich images
Sharing insights in Slack now sends the full-resolution chart image instead of a plain link. We automatically upload each chart image to our CDN and attach it to the Slack message, so everyone in the channel can see it instantly—no extra clicks required. Behind the scenes we refreshed the Slack bot's permissions, updated the share button copy, and ensured the bot can access images posted earlier in the thread for a smoother experience.
Visual-aware chat agent
You can now drop screenshots and other images directly into Chat. The agent will analyze the image alongside your text prompt, letting you ask questions such as "Summarize the trends in this chart" or "Generate SQL that recreates this dashboard." It's the fastest way yet to turn visual context into actionable queries.
Richer map charts
Map charts got a facelift. A new color-coded legend explains what each shade represents, and updated projection/scale settings keep regions in proportion at every zoom level. The result is easier-to-read maps that tell a clearer story at a glance.
Native SQL Server connections (beta)
Basedash now connects directly to Microsoft SQL Server databases—no work-arounds required. Add a SQL Server source from the Data tab, explore tables immediately, and build charts or dashboards just like you would with Postgres or MySQL.
