September 25, 2023

I’m excited to announce that we’re kicking off our first launch week. We’ll be announcing a bunch of improvements and new features in the app today through Thursday.

At Basedash, we’re trying to build the best product to view and manage your data. That means fewer data silos, less time switching between tools and more time focusing on your core business.

Since announcing our funding in May, we’ve been working hard to expand the number of ways organizations can run their key business processes with Basedash - and dramatically reduce the need to build custom tooling.

I’m proud to say that we’ve come a long way towards delivering on that promise - and we have several major releases this week to show for it.

Without giving too much away, that includes additions like AI assistants, better permissioning, stricter security and many new ways to display data to your team. We’ve also made a number of improvements to Views - our pre-built interfaces for managing and accessing your entities (like users and workspaces).

You’ll notice that we’re expanding the range of operations work you can run for your company on Basedash - as well as increasing the types of team-mates who can use and manage the product.

These changes bring us one step closer to the ultimate control center for everything you need to do with your company’s data: from CRUD operations to managing team deliverables to spinning up killer dashboards and visualizations. If you need to build a workflow based on data, we want you to be able to do that in Basedash.

Follow us on Twitter to here about these new features as soon as they launch. We’ll also post them to our changelog at the end of each day.

I’m super proud of what we’ll be putting out this week. I can’t wait to hear what you think.

You could ship faster.

Imagine the time you'd save if you never had to build another internal tool, write a SQL report, or manage another admin panel again. Basedash is built by internal tool builders, for internal tool builders. Our mission is to change the way developers work, so you can focus on building your product.
