Insights is an AI agent that runs against all your connected data sources every day. It explores everything, finds the most important patterns, anomalies, and milestones, and surfaces them in a clean feed with charts, context, and recommended next steps.

Why we built Insights

  2. Runs deep analysis — scanning for trends, anomalies, correlations, and milestones across your entire dataset
  3. Generates findings — each insight includes a clear explanation, supporting numbers, a chart, and concrete next steps
  4. Delivers your briefing — view insights in the app, or get notified via email or Slack

The AI prioritizes findings based on magnitude of change, potential business impact, and relevance. It’s not just looking for spikes — it’s looking for the spikes that matter.

What kind of insights does it find?

Last week, Insights caught a regression in our onboarding flow that we hadn’t noticed in our dashboards. Step 3 completion had dropped 18%, and the AI traced it to a recent schema change that broke auto-detection for a common database type. We fixed it the same day.

Getting started

Insights is available today for all Basedash users.

  1. Sign up for Basedash (or log in)
  2. Connect your data sources
  3. Open the Insights page from the sidebar
  4. Your first insights will appear within 24 hours

You can enable email or Slack notifications from the Insights page header so you never miss an important finding.
